Test Drive Unlimited has had a full review from OXM this month. Overall they loved the game and rated it 9 out of 10 (what a suprise...not)
The minuses:-
- Slightly numb handling
- Its not an arcade game nor sim
- Slight pop-up issues when travelling at high speed
The pluses:-
- Open ended gameplay
- Looks stunning
- Petrolheads dream
After 15 hours of solid gameplay, they had only completed 18% of the game, and this was without any particular explorering. Add on to this, the online side of the game (which wasnt enabled) and i think we have a game with a *** of alot of playability
The development of cars:
When you first start the game you rent a car. You rent this car until you can afford to buy one.
When you first buy a car you have the manufactures catalogue to choose from (Colours, trims, alloys etc...) However, as you progress through the game you'll unlock special tuners (You can upgrade cars in 3 stages) and also speicial paintshops (You can have absolutley ANY colour) So your car can truly become one of a kind!
This game sounds really really promising
OXM are also calling this the most detailed game ever!

Hello Pilot, wasnt sure whether to get this or not but have pre-ordered it through Amazon, just hoping its better than the demo!
I think the game will be fairly good. I'm still undecided as to whether to get it or not.
Im not going to bother getting it, nope, PGR will do me. Do me it will.
